Privacy Policy
LithoPrime ("we", "our", or "the Platform") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our B2B stone and materials marketplace platform.
What this policy does and does not cover
LithoPrime is a discovery and communication platform — no buyer-vendor purchases, payments, or shipments take place on the Platform. We collect data about your use of the Platform (account info, listings you post, messages you exchange, search activity, subscription payments to us). We do not collect, process, or store payment instruments or transaction records for any deal you conclude off-platform with another user; any data exchanged for those off-platform dealings is between you and the other party. References to "transactions" below mean platform fees you pay to LithoPrime (subscriptions, credits, add-ons), not buyer-vendor sales.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Full name, email address, and password (hashed)
- Business name, business location, and country
- Company registration/tax ID and import-export codes
- Website URL, bio, and service descriptions
- Profile photos, logos, and office images
- Selected vendor types and profile tags
Marketplace Activity Data
- Quote requests and responses exchanged on the Platform
- Listing details including pricing, descriptions, and images you publish
- Chat and direct message content between you and other users on the Platform
- Subscription, credit-pack, and add-on purchases you make from LithoPrime (handled by our payment processor — we never see card details)
We do not collect or store records of off-platform purchases, shipments, or payments that you arrange with another user — those occur outside of LithoPrime.
Usage Data
- Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the platform
- Search queries and filter selections

2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the marketplace platform
- To facilitate B2B connections between stone buyers and vendors
- To process quote requests, listings, and communications
- To manage premium subscriptions and listing boosts
- To verify business identities and prevent fraud
- To generate aggregated analytics for platform improvement

3. Information Sharing
We share your information only in these circumstances:
- Between Platform Users: Your public business profile (name, location, vendor types, listings) is visible to other platform users. Premium members of the Vendor Network can view vendor directory profiles.
- Service Providers: We use third-party services for hosting, email delivery, and analytics that may process your data on our behalf.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government regulation.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user data may be transferred as part of the transaction.
We never sell your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including password hashing (bcrypt), encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS), session-based authentication with JWT tokens, and role-based access controls. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., tax records, trade documentation). Aggregated and anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for analytics.
6. International Data Transfers
As a global B2B marketplace connecting vendors and buyers across 48+ countries, your data may be processed in jurisdictions outside your home country. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including standard contractual clauses where required under GDPR or equivalent data protection frameworks.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the Support page or email privacy@lithoprime.com.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may also use analytics cookies to understand usage patterns. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
